Last Dance
So you gods are disillusioned about how we treat the planet
You’ve seen wars begun by those fools who have run it
The planet’s heating up and we’re slow in our reaction
Due to so many dummies in the lunatic faction
Before you pull the plug on us please wait,
Come with me before you call our fate
Inspect these treasures here in our nation’s parks
Preserving some of nature’s beauty marks
Our artists through the course of time
The verses wrote by poets using clever rhyme
Hear the Ode to Joy one a genius wrote to thrill us
Just one of our creations pleading not to kill us
The Olympics in Paris, city of love and beauty
You’ll see a place where we have done our duty
Please put our destruction on hold while we do some fine tuning
We’ll remove the vile worms and do a good bit of pruning
I must gratefully thank you well in advance
For letting us humans have one more last dance
